1. Choose the shape of your opening

The first choice is not simply the job with the largest number beside it. Look at the skill, location, start time and working days together. A shift that fits your route can be more useful than a higher-paying option that leaves you stranded or forces an expensive trip. If you want a social character, a central routine may matter more than a specialist skill. If you want to build a business later, a steady beginning gives you a better base for learning the city. The career list has 22 choices, including Tech at CcHub and Aviation at Eko Hotels, so compare route and start time before salary.

Filter the career ledger by skill or location. Select two careers to compare, then ask which one preserves the next decision. This is a good moment to make a note of the start time rather than trusting memory. The game makes time part of the world, so a plan that looks profitable on paper can still be awkward when the clock and the map disagree.

2. Put transport before impulse spending

Before you buy a home object, outfit or market item, reserve the fare for the day you have planned. Transport options show a price; road vehicles also show a per-kilometre cost. Use those numbers as a quick budget check. A short, cheap move may be enough for the first task; a longer crossing can turn a small purchase into a decision that delays work or food. The map lets you think in connected stops instead of isolated destinations.

The most comfortable route is not always the best opening route. A practical player can use a danfo for a routine trip, save a ride for a time-sensitive move, and keep a bike in mind when a longer route rewards a lower running cost. You are not choosing a permanent identity. You are choosing a first-day pattern that lets you learn what the next pattern should be.

3. Let your first home buy breathing room

Homes trade rent against starting money, size and guest capacity. A low-rent option gives you more time to learn the work loop; a larger option may make social plans easier but leaves less cash for moving around. Read the home records with your intended routine in mind. If your first job is far away, the cheapest listing may not be cheapest after transport. If you want to host friends, guest capacity is a real part of the choice rather than a flavour line.

Use the homes sort control to compare rent, starting money and size without losing the names. Pick the option that keeps one fallback available. A first home should make the rest of the day legible: you should know what it costs, what it gives you, and what kind of route it encourages. When you are unsure, a modest home with a clear budget is a strong opening because it turns uncertainty into room to experiment.

4. Close the day with a small win

Needs are a quiet clock. Hunger, energy, hygiene, fun, health and social pressure can all affect how a day feels, even when your balance is moving in the right direction. Choose one manageable action that answers the most urgent need, then notice whether it also helps another part of the routine. The goal is not to push every bar to a theoretical maximum. The goal is to prevent one neglected need from turning tomorrow into a repair day.

A small social action can do the same work for your story. People, dates and occasions give you options to explore, so you can choose an interaction that fits the route you already have. That creates a useful first-day loop: work gives you a reason to move, movement reveals a place, a place opens a need or a conversation, and the conversation gives the next day a direction.

5. Keep the next page close

The best first-day plan is a plan you can revise. Return to the career ledger when you want to compare jobs, sort the homes when the rent decision becomes real, and use the map whenever a place matters more than a category. Read a route quickly on a phone, then use the larger tables for deliberate comparisons on desktop.

There is no need to spend your first session chasing every record. Learn the cost of a normal day, notice which area you naturally return to, and build outward from that pattern. Once your basic loop is stable, business opportunities, land parcels, household objects and aspirations become choices with context instead of disconnected prizes.
